Sell with Osenat

For nearly fifty years, Maison Osenat has been assisting private individuals, families, collectors and institutions in the sale of works of art and collectible objects. Each object and artwork benefits from a personalised appraisal, rigorous follow-up and comprehensive support.

Have your property appraised free of charge

Our experts welcome you by appointment in Fontainebleau, Versailles and Paris, and every Wednesday without appointment at our three locations.

You may also have your property appraised directly online via our valuation platform.

Maison Osenat also travels to your home to carry out the appraisal of your collectible objects and artworks, or to conduct complete inventories of your assets, particularly in the context of estates, divisions or insurance purposes.

These appraisals are carried out free of charge and in the strictest confidentiality.

Entrust your objects to us

Once your artwork is consigned, a document is drawn up specifying the conditions and terms of the forthcoming sale.

Your property is then handled with the utmost care: secure storage, insurance, professional photography, cataloguing and presentation during our pre-sale exhibitions, open to the public, together with tailored communication benefiting from our international network.

Sales adapted to each type of object

Our auction house organises sales throughout the year:

  • Two furniture and works of art auctions per month, in Versailles and Fontainebleau
  • As well as numerous prestige sales by specialty:
  • Empire and Historical Memorabilia
  • Les Grands Siècles (16th–18th centuries)
  • Modern and Contemporary Art
  • Jewellery and Watches
  • Collector Cars
  • And other departments depending on the collections

The sale, payment and taxation

Once your object has been sold, payment is made by bank transfer approximately one month after the sale.

The amount received does not have to be declared as taxable income, except in specific cases. No withdrawal fees apply.
